Tire Warranty

For a fee collected at the online checkout cart, Katie the Tire Lady, will replace the tire (not including installation) in the event of a failure due to workmanship and materials or a non-repairable road hazard for the service of the original tread down to 3/32 inch remaining. This warranty begins from the date the tire was received by the customer up to 1 year from that date of receipt. During this period of time we will credit the full price of the tire, plus sales tax, if any, towards the purchase by the consumer of a new tire. At no point will any monies be sent back to you (unless it’s a flat repair); it will be put towards the purchase of the replacement tire. There is no prorating, no disqualification for any reason such as run-on damage and no mileage adjustment. This warranty does not cover damage caused by collision, vandalism, chain damage, mechanical defects of the vehicle or willful abuse. No other property damage or consequential damage of any kind is covered by this warranty. This warranty is valid only on passenger and light truck tires (not flotation or semi truck tires.)

Upon credit of sales tax, customer hereby acknowledges by actual signature or electronic signature capture such credit. This additional acknowledgement satisfies a technical requirement in the sales tax statutes and/or regulations for many jurisdictions that a signed receipt must be obtained upon the refund or credit of sales taxes. In the event the covered tire is discontinued or unavailable, a tire of similar value will be substituted.

Proof of damaged tire or road hazard must be provided to Katie the Tire Lady, in advance of Katie the Tire Lady replacing the damaged tire. This proof must come in the form of an inspection performed by a reputable chain tire shop as well as photos of the tire emailed or texted to us for review.

If in our opinion the tire is repairable, we will reimburse the cost of the tire repair that was performed by a reputable tire business with proof of purchase up to no more than $20 for any given tire that needs attention.

There will be an additional charge if you wish to purchase a new warranty for the replacement tire. By redeeming this warranty, the customer relinquishes the right to any manufacturer’s warranty that may apply, and Katie the Tire Lady may claim for its own benefit any such manufacturer’s warranty.
